Mason - Partner, Williams and Mullen; and Jan Mul – Director International Marketing Fairfax County EDA jointly conducted a seminar about opportunities in the US in the “IT and (Cyber) security” industry, hosted by the EACC-France and taking place at the offices of the Cabinet Wragge [Paris France].
June 2010 – John Piret spoke at a seminar hosted by the French American Chamber of Commerce Washington DC Chapter on the topic of “Mergers and Acquisitions: A Growth Strategy for International Companies in 2010” which took place at the Williams Mullen offices in McLean VA. Speakers included John Piret, Eliot Norman, International Practice, Williams Mullen; Gregory R. Bishop, M&A Practice, Williams Mullen; and Philippe de Dreuzy, Vice-President, Rutherfoord International.

April 2010 - John Piret served on the venture selection committee for the New Technology Venture Accelerator program (NETVA) at the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères [Paris France]. “The NETVA program is an initiative of the Consulates General of France in Boston and San Francisco and the Embassy of France in Washington to support French innovative startups in their search for opportunities in the United States and to help them understand the regulations and market of American technologies.” [from the NETVA website].
